Our top match visitor, Simple Pieman gets his Blue Jacket

One of the FootballFans came up with the idea of creating some kind of equivalent for the yellow jersey of the Tour de France. Therefore we created the "
Blue Jacket
", for the top FootballFan of the moment. Earlier we presented
Graeme
his
Blue Jacket
for his leading position as an overall Top FootballFan. But we also have a Blue Jacket for the Top Match Visitor. Last Thursday in Dublin, before the match Shamrock Rovers-Tottenham Hotspur, we were able to hand over the
Blue Jacket
for the Top Match Visitor to
Simple Pieman
; a true leader and he fully deserves the jacket. He has now attended 2382 matches and there is more to come as we are working on the levels 9 and 10 of England and he will be able to add a few more...
But... the challenge is always on. if he loses that position he will hand over his jacket to the new leader. One of our aims is to connect football fans and football friends, to meet, share a drink, talk football and watch a match together. So when there is a new leader, one the rules of this
Blue Jacket
is to try to meet personally and hand over the jacket to the new leader. So let's hope that when there is a new leader an opportunity will be created to meet somewhere soon so that we can hand over your
Blue Jacket
. And also very important, sharing a drink together. Cheers!

Well Done Pieman - could be 2 people wearing these coats at WHL on 11/1 and GP on 10/3. I am after a clean sweep though!!!!!!

Graeme - I was expecting to hand the coat over to you at WHL or GP, however, I believe Frans wants it to go to A N Other!
It would be good watching you wearing both at the same time. A bit like Steve Redgrave with all his medals.
Vladimir1973 - an interesting game in prospect. Everton are always tough opponents and rarely conceed many.

Steve - this one is yours for keeps mate - I am happy with 1 and it would be nice to keep it for a while, and someone will do well to take yours off you
Bit of a tough call tomorrow - Everton are playing very poor at the minute and have a number of key players out injured. I would like Spurs to silence the Mancs, but at the same time, I dont want my 1st trip to WHL in 25 years, and on a work night, to result in a hammering. I will leave my coat at home for this one!!!!!

Safe journey Graeme.
What time does your train get to Lime Street. We can never get back to London from anywhere north of Birmingham. Not like the old days!
