Vele jaren geleden, toen ik nog voetbal als sport beoefende, ben ik als klein jongetje naar dit stadion geweest. Op dat moment was de Arena al in aanbouw. Ik heb zelfs nog wat gras geplukt in De Meer, maar helaas is dat ook verloren gegaan.

I remember when I went here, it was 16 years ago, just before they closed a year or 2 after. I have seen and met Litmanen and Davids there. At that time it was so great to meet these great players.

I even took some grass from the actual playing field of stadium!
